For a seamless shoot, here's what you need to know:

• Allow at least five working days. We consider each request carefully, but there will be times when we will be unable to accommodate a request due to security or operational reasons or because we are fully booked.
• Ensure your production company can provide evidence of £10m public liability insurance.
• Fees will be charged as applicable excluding filming or photography commissioned by a Heathrow business partner (i.e. an airline, retailer or supplier).
• A site specific risk assessment is required for every shoot. If you need assistance, templates and advice can be found at: www.hse.gov.uk
• Once a request has been authorised, film-makers will receive a media permit via email which must be shown to any member of Heathrow staff or the Metropolitan Police upon request. Failure to present this permit will mean crew being asked to stop filming and leave the airport premises.
